Siriraj Medical Students Exchange Program

Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, organized the “Siriraj Medical Students Exchange Program” in every academic year, giving a number of scholarship to outstanding 2nd – 6th year medical students, residents and fellows to undertake the elective abroad during summer break.

The objective is to provide valuable opportunities for medical students, residents and fellows to gain International medical experiences at prestigious medical institutes abroad.

How to apply for Siriraj Medical
Exchange Program ?

For prospective Siriraj medical students who are interested in the exchange program,
please follow instruction below carefully;

Note: Failure to follow the instructions will invalidate your application

  1. Students need to check the announcement of the number of available faculty scholarships, other university scholarships and self-funding which will be declared on the International Relations office website and International Relations Facebook

  2. Download the application documents
  3. Complete all application documents, attach all required evidences e.g. photos in the application form (with signature), English Proficiency Score and English Curriculum Vitae (CV) and send to siiro@mahidol.ac.th in both MS Word and PDF format
  4. All original documents in point 3. must be sent to International Relations Office in person
  5. The medical students’ English proficiency will be measured by using the Announcement for English Proficiency (05_OB_Announcement_for English Proficiency)
  6. The result of eligible candidates to take the English Interview examination will be declared on the International Office website and International Relations Facebook
  7. The result of eligible candidates who passed the English Interview examination will be declared on the International Office website and International Relations Facebook
  8. All selected candidates who passed the English Interview examination will be closely contacted by International Relations officers via email
  9. Selected students need to submit all required documents requested by the university under International Relations supervision e.g. application forms, health certificate, insurance and etc.
  10. Selected students need to proceed for air-ticket, VISA, health certificate and insurance themselves
  11. The orientation ceremony will be held for selected students for preparation before going abroad
  12. Selected students must report their presences at the university abroad by sending photo to Siriraj International Relations Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SirirajInternationalRelations/, stating English names, University, Departments, and period of elective
  13. All selected students must individually submit the report including reflection (written in Thai/English), CD/VDO presentation in English and summary of total expenditure of the trip

Remarks: The amount of the scholarship sponsored by Siriraj is presented in front of the Siriraj International Office, 3rd floor, Old OPD building (Jainadnarendhranusorn Building).


How to apply for Siriraj Resident Exchange Program ?

Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, provided the “Supporting Fund for International Residency Exchange” in every academic year, giving  supporting fund annually for Siriraj residents and fellows to undertake the training abroad.

The objective is to provide valuable opportunities for residents and fellows to gain International medical experiences at prestigious medical institutes abroad.
